He is finally legal!

Well, today was a big day in Aspen's life. He finally was able to get his driver's license! I have been dreading this day for a long time for a couple of reasons. 1. I will always be worried when he is out on the road. People are crazy and I am afraid for my son! 2. He will always be gone now that he has his own truck and a license.
When I took him to get his license, it reminded me of the day I got my driver's license. I felt so cool and adult like. I thought this is it, it doesnt get better than this. So I looked at Aspen and had to ask him if he felt any diffrent now that it is legal for him to drive, and his response was "No, not really except now I can just go everywhere, and I can take my friends or whoever I want with me." So, I was right, he will always be gone somewhere. I guess there is one bright spot, I have someone who can run all my errands for me, except if I have to give him money to pick up whatever it is I need, I will never ever see my change!
