Happy 80th Birthday Party!

This past weekend Aspen, Lexi, Lyssi and myself went back up north to stay with my mom to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday!! We had such a great time. It was so fun to see everyone and to see all the love everyone has for my dad. We had a great turn out. Mom went to so much work with pasta salad, chips, a whole bunch of subway sandwiches, a cheesecake bar with wonderful toppings, a drink bar with all kinds of soda, and dont forget the cute decorations and of course a perfectly clean house!
Dad enjoyed visiting with all his kids, grandkids, great grandkids, brother, and lots of friends. He was just like a little kid at his birthday party. He had lots of laughs, ate lots of food, did lots of visiting and opened some very nice gifts!
The kids and I enjoyed being at thier house for a couple of days and just spending time with them. It felt so good to be home. That was the first time I slept in my old bedroom since I got married a hundred years ago. The kids loved seeing thier grandma and grandpa, but the couldnt get pass the wheelchair and walker. It was such a novelty to them. They fought over it the whole weekend! Aspen was determined to pop wheelies in it, which he never was able to do!
I want to thank everyone who came to Dad's party and celebrated with him. I know it ment the world to him, and he loved seeing everyone of you who came! I loved seeing him that happy and just enjoying the day!
