3rd Grade football tournament champs!!!

Lanse had the opportunity to coach Sam and Burk and the rest of thier football team in a tournament in Mesquite this weekend. Lanse had 4 days to put together a football team and practice with them till we went to the tournament today.
What a game we had!!! It was the game of the year. We played a team that was the Champions of thier football league just north of us in Utah County. They came down and we thought "well, lets go, give it our all and see what happens." Well, it so happens that neither one of us could score. It was a back and forth battle the entire game. A total nail biter!!!!! We had the ball at the 50 yard line with 20 seconds left and Sam went for a 30 yard pass, had a beautiful catch, crowd went crazy,  Lanse told the boys "You either give it your all right here right now and put it in the end zone, or we go in over time. Our quarterback went on a scramble and shed 4-5 players from the other team and found the end zone. The kids and coaches went crazy!!!!! We won the championship!!!! The boys were beside themselves. The team won a 6 foot trophey and the title! We are so proud of these boys and coaches too!!!!!
