Lanse and I decided that we all needed a little fun, so we planned a trip to Disneyland, and it so happened that our friends the Thomas' were also going to Disneyland that same time. The Thomas' drove to St. George, and stayed with us, our kids were so excited because they knew that the Thomas' were going to Disneyland and that they were just stopping here on their way to visit with us, they had no idea that they also were going to Disneyland, and that we were going to meet up with them in the parks!!! So, Saturday night when the Thomas' got here, we sat them all down and said, "Pack your bags kids, we are headed to Disneyland in a couple of days!!! They were so excited!
The Thomas' left the next morning and spent several days there before we arrived, but when we got there, we found them in the park, and spent the next couple of days riding rides till all of us adults could not handle it anymore. You know your old when you come off a little ride and your pale and have a sick head and belly!!! It rained or I guess I should say drizzled everyday we were there, but it was so much fun and it was so fun to see friends from up north and spend time with them. Speaking of friends from up north. One night we were sitting in a resturant after a long day in the park, and we were seated in a corner booth in the front of the resturant with windows all around us, when Lanse said "ummmmm.. there is Cindy". I jumped up out of my seat, hurdled over a couple of coolers, and was out the front door screaming along with her. We couldnt believe that we were both there. We havent seen each other since July, so we were just dying!!!! Her poor little grandbaby she was holding was sobbing because we scared her so bad from us getting so excited!!!!! Seeing Cindy really made me miss her!!! She is one of my favorites!!!!!!!
So on with the park. Cars Land in California adventure Park was so cute. It looks just like the movie!!!! I just wanted it all to be real!!! We spent 2 days in Disneyland and California Adventure, then the Thomas' left to head home, and we spent our last day at Universal Studios. Pretty dang cool place, but I was sad that it wasnt "Grinchmas" there yet! That is always my favorite!!!! But we had fun and loved the Transformers ride! It is crazy to see how movies are made and how real everything looks!
This was our very first time we all piled in the Suburban and took a rode trip. We usually fly, but decided it was so close to us now that we needed to take a road trip. Man I have a large family, and they can be very loud, (and smelly) but I sure do love them. Great times, Great times!!!!!!!

i have to admit i am extremely jealous!! i just got back from Florida but a trip to see you guys would have been so much funner!! (: you guys were such a huge part of my life and you have no idea how much i love you guys! (: its good to hear that you guys are happy and doing well. its kinda weird not having you guys around for christmas.. no doorbell ditching.. no hanging out.. and no teasing.. i miss that so much.! you guys were the first family i got extremely close to and felt like everyone accepted me for who i was.. i had no clue you had a blog this came up by total fluke! there's one thing that has been bugging me since you guys left though.. someone made a comment saying dont expect to keep in contact with them because it will only last a few months.. please promise me this wont happen.. i dont think i could handle it if it did! well keep in contact with me and i love you guys so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
