Pinewood Derby 2013

We just had Pinewood Derby last night that Lanse and I helped take care of now that we are the Cub master's in our ward. It was so crazy. We had 42 boys there to race cars. It took a long time to get them all weighed in and ready to race, but it all happened and it was a lot of fun. All of the boys had such amazing cars. Really unique ones, some slower ones and some lightening fast ones!
Burk took 3rd place in his den, and Sam took 1st place in his den. They were both pretty excited.
Another lady put together pit passes for each boy that had pinewood derby on it with each one of their pictures and their pack # on it. Then she laminated them and put a ribbon on them and the boys wore those, then they got a pinewood derby certificate and I put together a treat bag for them that had a pack a chocolate mini donuts and a juice box in a clear cellophane bag tied closed with ribbon and a tag that said spare tires and gas. They turned out so cute!
Glad this pack meeting is over, it was a lot of work, but so much fun at the same time!
