Family Cruise

The family went on a week long cruise to Haiti, Jamaica, and Cozumel. We had a fabulous boat. It is the largest one in the world. (It truly was gigantic!) We had a great time. While on the boat the kids did the rock walls, zip lines and flow rider. The flow rider was really cool, the kids loved it and did it over and over. We first stopped at Haiti. It was beautiful there. Of course we were on the royal Caribbean private beach that they own, so we didn't get to see the real true Haiti, but what we could see it was beautiful. Next stop was Jamaica, it was a fun day, we did the Dunn's River falls hike, which was a huge man made river that was beautiful. We hiked up it and was soaking wet, but it was a blast, then we went tubing down another river, which was just ok, but not my favorite. The last stop we made was in Cozumel. It was a beautiful day and we went to the beach and hung out. We got lots of sun and had a very nice time.
While on the cruise, we went to several great shows, and did lots of fun amazing things. Best of all, we were all just together. Of course we all got on each other's nerves, and bickered and argued once in a while, and I did plenty of yelling and head shaking, but over all, we had a great time together.
On Friday while we were in Cozumel, it was Sophie-Taylor's 7th birthday. We had fun celebrating her birthday on the boat. When we got back, we had dinner, then took her to the animal spa store that is just like build a bear, and there she made herself a puppy that looks like LuLu, with the money grandma Jill and Grandpa Bob sent her. She named him Captain, then we took her to the cupcake store, and she had herself a yummy red velvet cupcake and we sang to her there. She didn't even offer a bite to us, but that is ok, she loved every second of it being her birthday. She opened her other presents when we got home.
The flight home was long and miserable. We got off the boat at 8am and didn't fly out till 6pm. We arrived back to our home at 3:00 am. Poor kids, they were exhausted. The three little kids stayed home from school today they were so tired, but the older three still got up after only a couple of hours of sleep and went to school.
It is always nice to be back home, but man do I have alot of laundry!!!!!!!!!
