The kids are doing well. Football for Aspen has come to a end this season. He played starting center for the JV team. They did pretty good. He sure put in alot of time and energy. Practice really took it out of him, but he loved game night under the lights!
Sam and Burk's last game will be this Saturday! GO THUNDER!!!!!! yes, that is what we are now, not Titans or Black Knights, but Thunder. Sam and Burk's team has done well, Burk scored his first touchdown a couple of Saturday's ago, I couldnt see his face since I was so far away, and he had a helmet on of course, but I am pretty sure he had his famous smile going on! Sam has scored 13 touchdowns, he keeps reminding us that he is not a dominator, but a PD (professional Dominator)! He is so humble!
Alexis and Alyssa have made some great friends! They are in middle school and are doing great! They are back in piano, Lexi doesnt seem to mind it, while Lyssi absolutley hates it and she is not afraid to tell he teacher! She will thank me one day for not letting her quit!
Sophie is doing great in school, she is getting her reading down, but most of all she has found a love for art. She has been doing an art class once a week after school, and I have to admit, she does very well!
Lanse is in heaven because he is so close to Sand Hollow where he can ride his machines. He keeps himself very busy around the house and on his machines. Everyone keeps asking me "so what does Lanse do now that he is retired?" I am not sure how to respond to that because I am not sure myself.
I am doing well myself. I continue to try to run daily. A couple of friends from up north came down and we ran the St. George marathon. That is my 6th one, and I have decided that I most likely will just do halfs. They are much funner, and easily to recover from. I am just way to old for this kind of thing!
So as you all can see we are kind of still the same except somewhere else. We miss all our friends and families from up north, and have enjoyed the visits from those who have made it down to stay with us!
